ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has sought explanation from Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senator Nehal Hashmi for hurling open threats to those conducting accountability of the premier and his family, ARY News reported on Wednesday.
Seeking clarification, the premier has also disassociated himself from the threatening statement given by PML-N senator.
Meanwhile, the Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, Marriyum Aurangzeb, has said that PML-N believes in the supremacy of Constitution and law.
“Remarks of Nehal Hashmi are his personal opinion. The statement should not be linked with the party”, she said.
It should be recalled here that PML-N leader Nehal Hashmi hurled ‘open threats’ to those making Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif accountable [in the face of Panama leaks scandal].
