The Pakistan People’s Party has rejected the statement of Daniyal Aziz on the delimitation of constituencies and the demand for holding the general elections as per old census.

PPP central spokesperson Nafisa Shah said that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) wanted to postpone elections.

She said that the PPP won’t allow a delay in general elections. She added that the meeting Daniyal Aziz had referred to was not attended by any PPP representative. She said that parliament had unanimously amended the law for the smooth holding of general elections and now the PML-N wanted to backtrack from its stance.
