President Dr. Arif Alvi arrives in Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah

The President of Pakistan Dr Arif Alvi reached Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Sunday night.

As per the details, President was welcomed at the PrinceMohammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport by Prince Saud Bin Khalid Bin Faisal, the deputy governor of the holy city, Pakistani Consul-General ShehryarAkbar Khan, as well as other top officials.

During his stay in Medina-Munnawara, Dr. Alvi will visit the Roza-e-Rasool (Peace Be Upon Him) before heading to Makkah to perform Umrah.

In October, President Alvi was in Turkey on a three-day official visit on the invitation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Before leaving for Saudi Arabia yesterday, President Dr Alvi while addressing a ceremony titled “Artificial Intelligence and Computing”, said “education is mandatory for alleviating poverty as advanced skills would be required in the modern economy.”

He further said fourth industrial revolution was coming in which machines will replace many jobs of humans.
