ISLAMABAD (PAK TIMES): President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain will administer an oath of Prime Minister Office to the newly elected premier of the country on August 17.

As per the details, the president of the country has postponed his plan to proceed to Ireland on a three-day official visit on Aug 16. The President took this decision during a meeting with caretaker Information Minister Ali Zafar.

Caretaker Minister Ali Zafar said in a statement that the presence of country’s President Mamnoon Hussain is necessary for government formation.

Mamnoon Hussain has directed the Governor of Punjab Rafique Rajwana and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra to perform their duties until the formation of new government.
