ISLAMABAD: The prosecuting attorney in the Raymond Davis case on Monday backed up the CIA contractor’s version that relatives of the victims he had killed were pressurized to change their decision.
Asad Manzoor Butt, who was the lawyer for the deceased Fahim and Faizan in the Raymond Davis case, said that the Diyat amount was not handed over to the victims’ families in front of him.
“The victims’ relatives did not want to accept the sum,” he said. “They were pressurized and forced to change their decision and accept the Diyat money,” he added.
Butt also said that on the last day of the proceedings of the Raymond Davis case, he was locked inside a room for six hours.
