KARACHI: Karachi’s Gulshan-e-Iqbal witnessed massive panic late Monday night as Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf battled over Hakeem Saeed Shaheed Ground to hold a political gathering.
Following the clashes, PTI members led by Ali Zaidi arrived at the Aziz Bhatti Police Station to lodge a first information report (FIR) against PPP leaders but the police refused to register the case against Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, PPP Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari, and PPP MPA Saeed Ghani.

On the other hand, Ghani said PPP was set to file a case against PTI as well. Speaking to the media, PPP leaders demanded a judicial commission to probe the issue. “I am a minister but I request the chief minister to form a judicial commission to ensure culprits are punished.”
