Special Adviser to the Prime Minister Iftikhar Durrani has said Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) government wanted to bring changes in National Accountability Bureau (NAB) laws.
Talking to a private news channel, he said there was a need to bring improvement in accountability laws in order to improve its efficiency.
He said accountability should be held across the board without any discrimination.
Durrani lamented that both political parties the PPP and PML-N could not streamline the system in the accountability watchdog. There was a need to control corruption and for this, the PTI government was working without any discrimination.
To a question, he said PTI did not believe in political victimization and NAB was taking action against those involved in corruption cases.
