ISLAMABAD: The Leader of Opposition in National Assembly of Pakistan (NA) Syed Khursheed Shah on Tuesday has revealed that the process of the appointment of new Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) will be completed before October 8.
While talking to media persons at Parliament House, Shah said that he will hold a meeting with the Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahid Khaqan Abbasi to finalize the name for the post of Chairman NAB.
The Leader of Opposition said, that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) have not suggested the names for the chairmanship of NAB yet despite being in contact for the purpose.
“I cannot stop this process, even if Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM-P) doesn’t propose any names for the post of NAB Chairman,” he added.
Syed Khursheed Shah said, that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM-P) had protested in Nation Assembly of Pakistan on Monday to hide their incompetence in the Senate.
