Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is lucky enough to make its government in Pakistan’s largest populated province Punjab as the independent candidates of the provincial assembly are joining PTI in bulk.

It is obvious that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz will sit on the opposition benches. The top leaders of the party have already nominated son of Shehbaz Sharif Mr. Hamza Shehbaz as the opposition leader in the Punjab Assembly while the President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Mr. Shehbaz Sharif in the National Assembly of the country.

Asim Nazir, an independent candidate from Faisalabad has recently announced to join the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. The winners who have also defeated the strong PTI’s electables from the Khosa family have also decided to join Pakistan’s movement for Justice.

Independent Member National Assembly Amjad Khosa and Member Provincial Assembly Mohsin Atta Khosa have also joined the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.

Other independent candidates of Punjab Assembly who joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf

Taimoor Lali from the PP-93 constituency Chiniot, Mian Alamdar Qureshi from PP-127 constituency, and Taimoor Khan from the PP-124 constituency Jhang have already joined the Imran Khan’s convoy.

A winning candidate from Muzaffargarh, Sardar Khurram Laghari and Mehr Aslam Bharwana from Jhang have decided to join PTI.

The fact of the matter is, total 28 independent candidates have won the seats in the Punjab Assembly and 23 out of them have joined the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf which is a remarkable success for the party.

The candidates who are still independent

Some of the winning independent candidates including Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Ghulam Rasool Sangha, Muhammad Mawaiya, Syeda Memnant Mohsin, and Malik Ahmad Ali are yet to decide their political future in the provincial assembly.
