The PTI-led government of Pakistan has failed to provide justice to the families who lost loved once during the incident that took place in Model Town in 2014, said president Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) North Punjab Qazi Shafiq.
During a press conference in Rawalpindi, he said that Imran Khan is in power for one and a half years and still the victims of the Model Town massacre are waiting for justice to be delivered.
“We supported Imran Khan in general elections of 2018 on one agenda which was supposed to provide justice to the victims, but his government failed,” Mr. Shafiq added.
While talking about a prisoner Muhammad Sultan who is admitted to the Multan’s Nishtar Hospital, he said that the brain surgery of brain tumor patient is about to be held tomorrow (Saturday) and Punjab government’s behavior with him is inhumane and unethical.
He further criticized the government’s economic policies saying that people are still unable to understand the economic direction of the government of Pakistan.
He urged the government of Pakistan to provide justice to the victims as soon as possible. If the government will not be able to fulfill its commitments with Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) then a strike in several parts of the country will be kicked off.
