The members of the Sharif family and a leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Rana Sanaullah met the former three-time prime minister Nawaz Sharif on Thursday at Kot Lakhpat jail.

As per the details, Nawaz Sharif’s daughter, Maryam Nawaz, and his mother came to visit the convicted PML-N supreme leader today and also brought homemade food for Nawaz. Rana Sanaullah, also visited Nawaz, who has been sent to the jail for seven years, earlier today.

While talking to media, Rana lambasted that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was being targeted through various tactics. Criticizing the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government, he said, “The economic situation of Pakistan has been deteriorating since the current government came into power.”

Earlier today, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) has fixed January 21 to hear a petition of deposed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, challenging his conviction as well as a request for bail in Al-Azizia Steel Mills case.
