SC delayed Talal’s indictment for a day in contempt of court case

The Supreme Court (SC) on Wednesday adjourned the hearing of contempt court case against Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry till tomorrow (Thursday).

A three-member bench of the top court headed by Justice Ijazul Ahsan heard the case against the state minister.

In today’s proceedings, Kamran Murtaza, the counsel of Talal Chaudhry appealed the court to listen to him before framing charges as he wanted to put forward some court judgments to which Justice Ijaz Afzal remarked that the court cannot delay the case.
