SC issued notices to federal government on petition of Sharjeel Memon seeking bail

The Supreme Court has on Friday issued notices to the federal government on the petition of former Sindh minister Sharjeel Memon seeking bail.

A three-member bench of the Supreme Court headed by Justice Asif Saeed Khosa heard the case.

During the proceedings, Justice Asif Saeed Khosa remarked that what is the reason that everyone arrested by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) fall sick.

He remarked that the NAB should open a State of the Art hospital for these people, adding that there were reports in the media that Memon has been given a whole floor in the hospital.
