SC rejected the appeal of NAB to reopen Hudaibiya Paper Mills case

The Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC) has on Friday rejected the appeal of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to reopen Hudaibiya Paper Mills case in light of the fresh evidence disclosed in the JIT report quashing the Lahore High Court’s decision from March 2014.

A three-member bench of the Supreme Court headed by Justice Mushir Alam and comprising of Justice Qazi Faiz Esa and Justice Mazhar Alam Khan Miankhel resumed hearing of the case.

Justice Mushir Alam read out the judgment while a detailed order will follow soon.

Earlier, the anti-graft watchdog had submitted an appeal to the apex court to reopen the Hudaibiya Paper Mills case in light of the fresh evidence disclosed in the JIT report.
