SC rejects govt’s petition against LHC verdict in Hajj quota case

The Supreme Court of Pakistan has dismissed a plea filed by the federal government against the order by Lahore High Court increasing the Hajj quota.

Hearing the case, 3-member bench headed by the Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Saqib Nisar had formed a committee to probe the change in quota issue after LHC ordered to decrease the quota from 67 to 60 percent.
