Sharif Govt. borrowed loans worth $19.66 bn in four years

Contrary to promises of breaking begging bowl, Sharif-led federal govt had borrowed loans worth $19.66 billion during the span of four years i-e June-2013 to June-2017, reported Roznama Dunya on Tuesday.

This amount was borrowed from 10 foreign financial institutions.

As per stats garnered, Pakistan borrowed $6.3 bn from International Monetary Fund for the period of 13 years, $4.10 bn from Asian Development Bank for the period of 20 years and $4.96 bn from International Development Association for the period of 26 years.
