Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz, and his son-in-law Captain (R) Safdar have challenged the NAB’s court verdict in Avenfield reference against Sharif family in Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday.

According to the details, the assistant lawyer of Khawaja Haris has filed the appeals of Sharif family members against the verdict by NAB court.

In the review petition, Sharif family members have requested the Islamabad High Court to declare NAB court’s decision as null and void regarding their imprisonment, disqualification, fine and confiscation of Avenfield apartments.

The petitioner has also requested the high court the all three accused should be released on bail till the announcement of the final decision and their conviction should be suspended temporarily as well.

The appeal further said that the prosecution has failed to prove any accusations whereas Accountability court’s judge Muhammad Bashir declare punishment without fulfilling the Law of justice.
