The shutter down strike of medical stores against the Drug act 2017 across Punjab entered the sixth day on Tuesday, Dunya News reported.

Patients are facing difficulties in getting medicines for the past five days as pharmacies in different cities of Punjab including Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Rahim Yar Khan, and Rawalpindi are closed.

The owners of the medical stores say that the Drug Act is a black law, therefore, the government should suspend it. They are demanding the authorities to halt raids at medical stores and laboratories.
