ISLAMABAD: The noxious smog engulfing large parts of upper Punjab is unlikely to die down for now as rain is not expected this month.
According to Met Office, fog and smog with variable intensity are likely to prevail in the plain areas of Punjab, KP, and upper Sindh during November.
Met Office said less than normal rainfall is expected in most parts of Pakistan during the month. It said one or two spells of light to moderate rainfall are expected in the northern half of the country.
Daily temperatures are likely to remain normal during the month. However, under foggy conditions day temperatures will be below average and nights are expected slightly warmer.
