Justice Azmat assured that nothing wrong will happen to him if he is innocent.

Supreme Court (SC) on Wednesday has granted time to Minister of Privatisation Daniyal Aziz till February 19 to appoint a lawyer in contempt of court case against him.

A three-member bench headed by Justice Azmat Saeed heard the case during which, Daniyal Aziz was asked if he wants to say anything in his defense. The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader said that he appeared in court due to notice.

Justice Azmat asked whether he wants to hire a lawyer over which, Daniyal Aziz remarked that he will do whatever the apex court thinks right. He said that he was not told on which grounds notice was taken against him.

Justice Azmat assured that nothing wrong will happen to him if he is innocent.
