The Supreme Court on Thursday issued red warrants of former Pakistan’s ambassador to the United States Hussain Haqqani in Memogate Scandal.

A three-member bench of the Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Mian Saqib Nisar and comprises of Justice Umar Atta Bandial and Justice Ejazul Hassan heard the suo motu case.

During the proceedings, the apex court issued red warrants of former Pakistan’s ambassador to the United States Hussain Haqqani.

Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Director General said that a letter was written to the Interpol for the arrest of the former ambassador.
