The Supreme Court (SC) on Thursday ordered to include the names of all former managing directors of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) served during 2008-2018 in the Exit Control List (ECL).

A three-member bench of the apex court headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar was conducting the hearing of suo motu case pertaining to the privatization and audit of the national carrier.

In today’s proceedings, the counsel of the PIA presented audit report of the last nine years.

The CJP asked about the number of aircraft to which the lawyer said 36, adding that several aircraft were bought on the lease.
