Supreme Court summoned private airline officials for issuing boarding pass to Rao Anwar

The Supreme Court (SC) on Monday summoned private airline officials for issuing a boarding pass to former Malir Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Rao Anwar.

A three-member bench of the apex court headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar was conducting a hearing of suo motu case related to the extra-judicial killing of Naqeebullah Mehsud.

During the proceedings, the CJP remarked that the court would spare Rao Anwar and protect him if he comes to the court.

Justice Saqib Nisar remarked that if found, the facilitators of former Malir SSP will not go unpunished.
