The code of conduct for Presidential Election issued by Election Commission

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has issued the code of conduct for the Presidential Elections in the country.

The chief election commissioners will perform the duty as the returning officers and the chief justice of high courts will serve as the presiding officers during the Presidential Elections in Pakistan.

The polling stations have been set up in the national assembly of Pakistan along with other four provincial assemblies.

Moreover, the mobile phones will be strictly prohibited during the vote casting process, as per the code of conduct.

The presidential elections will be held on September 4.

It is going to be a three-pronged contest between PTI’s presidential candidate Dr Arif Alvi, PPP-backed Aitzaz Ahsan and Maulana Fazlur Rehman supported by the grand alliance of opposition parties, excluding PPP.
