The court decided to conduct treason case hearing against Musharraf on daily basis

Hearing of high treason case against former military dictator retired General Pervez Musharraf was held by a two-member bench headed by Justice Yawar Ali in a special court of Islamabad on Monday.

During the proceeding, the court decided that hearings on the case would take place on a daily basis from October 9.

“The case has to be taken to a logical conclusion soon. The interior ministry should tell in writing how Musharraf can be produced in the court. Can he only be brought back via Interpol?” asked Justice Yawar.

Prosecution lawyer Nasser-Ud-Din Nayyer appeared before the court. However; the prosecution head Mohammad Akram Sheikh recused himself from fighting the case.
