ISLAMABAD (PAK TIMES): The names of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s sons Hassan and Hussain Nawaz on Wednesday were placed on the blacklist.

After including the names in the blacklist, the passports of Hassan Nawaz and Hussain Nawaz were also blocked by the Pakistani authorities. Now the former Prime Minister’s sons will not be able to travel on their Pakistani passports. The step was taken on the request made by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had been submitted to the Immigration and Passport Directorate, after which Hassan Nawaz and Hussain Nawaz’s passports were blocked and their names were placed on the blacklist. FIA requests Interpol headquarters to issue the red warrants against Hassan Nawaz and Hussain Nawaz.

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) had approached the headquarters of Interpol to request the issuance of red warrants for the arrest of Nawaz Sharif’s sons Hassan Nawaz and Hussain Nawaz.

Earlier, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) accorded approval to bring Hassan and Hussain Nawaz back to Pakistan with the Interpol’s assistance. The accountability body has approved repatriation of Hassan and Hussain Nawaz through Interpol.
