The agitated workers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) continued to protest for the third consecutive day outside PTI’s Chairman, Imran Khan’s Banigala residence on Wednesday against a suspected undeserved distribution of party tickets for general elections.

According to workers, it was expected that party’s parliamentary board will reevaluate some applications and announce their decision. However, nothing has been done nor declared so far. Dissatisfied party workers have been protesting for the last 3 days at Bani Gala, outside Imran’s residence, showing displeasure over the distribution of party tickets to wrong people and also demanding party tickets for their groups. They wish to leave only after the board’s decisions.

PTI workers from Multan rejected the party decision of awarding the party ticket of NA-154 to Sikandar Bosan because he had joined PTI  recently, which means he has not been in the party for a long time nor he has served the party. Similarly workers from NA-51, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Battagram, Swabi and Karak are also speaking against the award of tickets.
