The threat alerts circulating on the social media are fake: ISPR clarified

The spokesperson for the Pakistan Armed Forces, Director-General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG-ISPR) has clarified on Thursday that army hasn’t issued any kind of threat alert on the social networking sites.

According to the ISPR’s press release, different types of threat alert for various cities of Pakistan are being circulated on the social media websites.

Army has nothing to do with it and such propaganda is an attempt to create confusion among the people of Pakistan and establish the environment of fear, the press release added.

The ISPR has urged the people of Pakistan to be careful on this matter and as well as well such attempts are being made through the fake calls. He further said that any news related to the Pakistan army can be easily verified or clarified on the official website of the ISPR i.e.
