Foreign Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif on Wednesday said that the American diplomat who recently hit and killed a motorcyclist in the federal capital was still in Pakistan.
Speaking on the floor of the Parliament, he said that the US embassy has assured full cooperation in the investigation.

The minister said that action will be taken in accordance with law.
Earlier, a United States Defense Attache had run down two persons in Daman-e-Koh, ratcheting up the ongoing visa/diplomatic rift between the two countries.
Colonel Joseph Emanuel Hall, Defense and Air Attache at the US Embassy, was reportedly sloshed while driving the white Land Cruiser that hit motorcyclists at a traffic signal.
One of the riders was dead, while the others were critically wounded, who were taken to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS).
