KARACHI: Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) leader Nehal Hashmi is in the media spotlight for hurling ‘open threats’ to those making Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif accountable [in the face of Panama leaks scandal].
In a video going rounds on the social media, Hashmi is seen warning opponents and ‘some honorable officials associated with top institutions’ of dire consequences if they continued with the accountability of PM Sharif.
“…Currently you are on service, but tomorrow you will retire and we will make your life miserable,” Hashmi is heard addressing some workers at an event.
As seen in the video, he initiated his address, saying: “To all those who are seeking Nawaz Sharif’s accountability, we will make your day of accountability. We are not going to spare you…”
He further said: “You are Nawaz Sharif’s life difficult, Pakistani nation will let you go through the same ordeal…”
