WhatsApp, a freeware and cross-platform instant messaging service for smartphones, has partially resumed functioning after facing temporary suspension of 30 minutes.

As per details, the popular freeware messaging service was hit by an outage in several areas of the world including Europe, Indonesia, Malaysia, India, and Pakistan. The incident occurred at 1:00 PM local time today.

The website Down Detector showed a huge spike in problems with the app, showing that thousands were unable to get online.
